The care guide

Beautiful hair is a daily ritual.

A few mindful habits help protect your extensions, natural hair and the quality of your installation.

Your non-negotiables

Four habits that matter most.

Consistency is more important than complexity. Keep bonds clean, hair hydrated and tension low—and never skip your scheduled maintenance.

01

Brush gently

Support the attachment area with one hand and work from the ends upward using an extension-safe brush. Brush morning, evening and before washing.

02

Wash mindfully

Keep your head upright, cleanse between attachment points without rubbing, and apply conditioner only through the mid-lengths and ends.

03

Dry completely

Never sleep with wet extensions. Gently squeeze out moisture, dry attachment areas first, then finish the lengths on a moderate heat setting.

04

Protect overnight

Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase with dry hair in a loose braid or low ponytail to reduce friction, tangling and unnecessary tension.

Aftercare answers

Frequently asked questions

Can I swim with hair extensions?

Usually, yes—with preparation. Wet your hair with fresh water, apply a light leave-in to the lengths, secure it in a braid, and rinse immediately afterward. Ask your stylist for method-specific guidance.

Can I use hot tools?

Yes, but always use heat protectant and keep direct heat away from keratin bonds, tapes and attachment threads. Lower temperatures help preserve extension quality.

Which products should I use?

Use the products recommended for your specific hair and extension method. Lightweight hydration is usually preferable, while oils and silicones should stay away from attachment areas.
